I bought a Chevrolet Spark last month and I am very satisfied with my dream machine. I have a desperation for small hatchbacks and Chevrolet Spark is one perfect car suiting my taste. Light weight body made of high strength steel with much larger wheel base (2345 mm), that improves the cabin space. Intelligent interiors & exteriors include seats of high quality fabrics, classically styled dash board with easily visible instrument panel , roomy leg space, noise insulating mat, sporty roof rails fitted alloy wheel and smiling face looks will definitely give you a fun drive. A must but for small car lovers.

I want to share my experience with you about one of my best drives if a small hatchback. I own a Maruti Alto but I got a chance to drive my friends Chevrolet Spark. Powered with very powerful, fuel efficient 1.0 Liter S-TEC engine delivering power of 63 ps @ 5400 rpm Spark is a competitive hatchback. Suspension system(Mcpherson) of the car has been designed specially for the Indian conditions providing extreme comfort. I loved it and its going to be my next car whenever I change my Maruti Alto.

Chevrolet Spark is a stylish and worthy car. The advanced S-Tec engine delivers maximum power output even at lower speeds. High roof line for spacious head room for rear seat passengers. Outside mirrors are internally adjusted that is extremely useful in dusty conditions. Super cool air-conditioning system, Small turning radius makes 'chevy spark' easy in handling. An ideal car for city traffic.

Chevrolet Spark has some basic faults in interior designing. The instrument cluster is at the center of the dash board which is a very unusual place to get used to. Moreover , the instrument cluster is such that it obstructs the view of left berm of the road ahead. This makes driving a very hectic experience.The dickey door has a thudding action while opening. The dickey door dampers seem to be missing. This reduces the vulnerability and durability.

I bought a spark from Sundaram Motors Bangalore after full down payment being promised discounts and delivery in a week. Two days after encashing the cheque the dealer informs that there is no stock and for the new stock with a different interior colour the increase in price is 7800/- thus nullifying the discount. Inspite of numerous complaints to GM/ Sundaram motors I had to pay the excess amount as I had already lost the prematurely encashed FD interest. This was unethical , unproffession and a blackmail on their part. I got the spark in the end but the deal went sour due to the excess charged. GM sales complaint no 30308080 does not take any complaints to GM and only calls the dealer and closes it with him without even feedback to customers. In the end the satisfaction on purchasing the car had reduced by 90%. Its better to check the dealership before buying cars.
