Comfort:

The giant car maker Volkswagen is expected to launch its small car, the UP ! in the Indian market soon this year . The car made its debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto show in Germany . The VW's UP had few similarities to the Beetle with main influence being the engine that runs at the rear part of the vehicle however the Indian version is expected to be wider and longer and will not have a rear engine !

India has become a big market for small cars and with cars like the Ritz , A-Star , Maruti Alto and Hyundai i10 it is expected to give a tough competition to their market share . As expected the correct pricing and the reputation of the brand will help the UP to cut its own share in the Indian small car market .

The Volkswagen UP is expected to have three body segments for the Indian market . The three variants of the UP expected would be the 2 door hatchback , the 4 door hatchback and lastly the four door wagons.
