Ingredients

  • - 1 kg: Fish (cut into medium sized chunks)
  • - Oil for frying

To Marinade

  • - 75 ml: Lemon juice
  • - 1 tsp: Grated ginger
  • - 1 tsp: Black pepper
  • - 1 tsp: Salt

Batter

  • - 100 gm: Besan
  • - 1 tsp: Ginger paste
  • - 2 tsp: Garlic paste
  • - 2 tsp: Ajwain
  • - 1 tsp: Chilli powder
  • - 4 : red chillies (snipped)
  • - 1 tsp: Baking powder
  • - 100 ml: Iced water
  • - Salt to taste

Method

  • - Peal the potatoes and mash them properly. There should not be any lumps.
  • - Now add all the ingredients and mix well.
  • - The stuffing is ready.
  • - Make a ball of dough, flatten it and stuff 1 serving spoon of the mixture in a roti.
  • - With the help of dry flour, roll the stuffed roti.
  • - Bake this stuffed roti on hot tava by using little oil.
  • - Serve hot with curd and butter along with hot tea.
