Kadai Chicken
Ingredients
- - 800 gms:Chicken
- - 4-5 :Tomato ( puried)
- - 1 tsp :Ginger paste
- - 8-10 cloves : Garlic paste
- - 4 :Chopped Onion
- - 4 :Green cardamom
- - 7-8 :Black pepper whole
- - 4 :Clove
- - 1 stick :Dalchini ( chinamon)
- - 1 tsp :Red chili powder
- - ¼ tsp :Haldi powder
- - 1 tsp :Chicken powder
- - 2 tbsp; chopped :Coriender leaves
- - 3 :Capsicum cut into long slices
- - Oil for cooking
- - Green chili chopped
- - Salt to taste
Method
- - Wash and slit chicken. Sprinkle salt and red chili powder on it and keep it aside for 10 min.
- - In the mean while; Heat oil in a karahi and put whole masalas, when the splitting sound comes add onion and saut it till it is dark brown in colour.
- - Add ginger and garlic paste, tomatoes and cook till it leaves the oil.
- - Add little more salt, haldi powder and chili (red / green).
- - Also add chicken masala.
- - Add chicken pieces and cook on low flame for about 10 min. stirring occasionally,
- - Add 2 cups of hot water.
- - Cook for another 5-7 min,
- - Add capsicum and cook for 3-4 min or till the chicken is done.
- - You can add more hot water to make more gravy.
- - Serve hot with butter nan.
